A photo of tiles of a photo.
Palácio de Cristal is one of the city parks. It's called like this(Crystal Palace) because of a iron and glass structure that existed here till 1951, when it was demolished to build the Sports Pavillion known as Pavilhão Rosa Mota, the huge dome building which you can spot from various places through the city.
It's still a big issue in the city, because everybody still thinks that the old building was better than the actual one.
Nowadays, in the park, you can admire some sculptures, nice gardens, and nice river views. At the dome building there's frequent events like book markets, children activities or concerts.
During summer you can watch live concerts. There's also a public library and, close by, the Romantic Museum and Quinta da Macierinha (a farm).

It costs exactly 2€ and you can have a wonderful view of the city, although you have to climb 240 steps. There are some pit stops on the way up.
If you're feeling lazy you can just admire the beautiful church, and the small chapel beneath it.
If you are lucky maybe you can listen to a Carrillon concert executed in the middle part of the tower.
2. Beers at Adega Leonor
Adega Leonor is one of the traditional meeting points in Porto and, at wednesday evenings, Superbock (the iconic portuguese northern beer) costs 0.50€ - you read it well, fifty cents - so have four.
On regular days the price is 1€, so stay out of the expensive 1.50€ places.

It's a very typical village just on the other side of Douro river. The best way to get there is by boat, Flor de Gás, and it costs 2€ - round trip.
Try some grilled fish on the terraces around or do some birdwatching on Afurada's natural park.
6. Have an Expresso
If you ask for a "café" you'll have a coffee shot. Although is a very short drink, we can guarantee that it's a real expresso. Italian and Portuguese are obcessed for a good "café" but we can say that portuguese is better.
And now for the price - 0.60€ (average) but you can get it at 0.50€!
